Tuesday Tidbits

Happy 2013! I am very behind on all things Christmas but there is a lot going on and I feel overwhelmed so I will just start with the present.

I just got back from a weekend in Dallas with my best friend from college!! It was a glorious 3 days of shopping, chatting and eating and shopping some more. We stayed near Grapevine Mills and spent 5 hours there Friday, then after IKEA Saturday morning headed to Stonebriar in Frisco before heading to the Galleria, including the American Girl store!

successful trip.

My homecoming Sunday night was amazing. There is nothing better than squeals and tackles from my kids.

I got Gracelyn the Itty Bitty Twins from American Girl. She has been asking for dolls with hair and she couldn't be happier. She is undecided on a name for her baby girl but she decided Monday that her baby boy would be named Britton. Brother Britton is very flattered!

Mozarts in the making. A baby grand piano from Mimi and Pappy to Gracelyn has provided lots of entertainment for the family.

I have a beauty shop bud in Gracelyn. When she overheard me reminding Ryan about my upcoming hair appointment she immediately said, "I go Mama!" She sat for hours while my hair was done and then, like last time, got her hair braided! A little freshener with my girl!

The last Sunday of 2012 was Gracelyn's best friend's birthday. Taryn turned 3!! Their friendship is the best! I could watch the two forever, both girly but still different. Taryn is much more outgoing than Gracelyn and it's just so funny to see them interact.
Gracelyn wanted a birthday train and told Taryn she was the leader!

Ryan's sis is the best aunt. She paints her nieces' nails whenever they ask!
