Britton turns 3

Britton Ryan... tractor on the shirt, boots on his feet (backwards), that's our boy!

Britton Ryan turned 3 last Saturday, November 27! or "free" as he says it!! He had a great day and wanted to go back to the Maize for a party. I suppose having his party 21 days early seemed like a years length of time to him. We treated him to our family's traditional birthday breakfast out where he dined on pancakes, bacon and OJ.


While waiting for our food he received 2 birthday phone call wishes, 1 from Mimi and 1 from GranTee. He was excited to get his very own phone calls!


We came home and he opened his gifts, he absolutely loved his remote control tractor! He was treated to a slush that afternoon and then waffles were his requested supper. Breakfast is his favorite meal.

it's impossible to get a picture with the boy and his tractor while he was driving and he wouldn't stop driving for a pic, but look at that smile!!!

While Britton Ryan is loved very much, he hasn't been the easiest child. He's given us a run for our money from the very beginning when he screamed for most of his first 15 months of life. He climbed out of his crib, the only one of the 3 boys who did, at 16 months. He said "no" the earliest of the kids and with much more force. Britton is incredibly strong willed and while I can find it challenging, I appreciate it.
He's always been his daddy's boy but in the last few months will snuggle with me! Britton is a great cuddler, as long as you don't try to cover up with his bay. He loves his bay (blanket).deeply. Gracelyn is a close runner-up with Blaine not far behind her.
Britton has really not met a food he doesn't like, which makes feeding him incredibly easy! At church and "school", he is an introvert around other children but he loves his teachers and his parents friends. Britton is an A++++++ picker-up. When he's told it's time to pick up, he hops to it. Blaine takes advantage of that by sitting back and gladly letting him.
B3 is so loved, not only by us but his SS and CDO teachers and our friends. How can you not love this face?

Those eyes have always been able to melt my heart.

On Sunday, his prized boots, that were his biggest brother Brandon's were shined by his daddy. He went to CDO on Monday very proud. He wears those boots.every.single.day.

We love you Britton Ryan, our little B3, or "boy" as you requested while camping over Fall Break (that really cracks.us.up)!! You are a sensitive sweet, loving boy to your sister and mom. It melts my heart when you tell me you love us and I thank God for you daily.
