Today was Brandon's first academic bowl. I've never been to one before so I was totally picturing Saved by the Bell. (MVEMJSUNP, anyone? confession: I still watch reruns when I catch them on TV.) Anyway, it was very much like that. 4 kids from each team at a time were given questions to answer.
Brandon and his team did excellent, finishing runners-up to the other Weatherford team.
HUGE thanks to my mom and stepdad for being there the entire time since we couldn't come til a little later. They are the best Mimi and Pappy!

Yeah, Brandon!!! That is fantastic! And I'm totally laughing at the Saved by the Bell thing. Awesome.
