1. Ryan and I had a date night Sunday! It was a fun night with the OKC Thunder! And thank you to Mimi and Pappy for watching the kiddos. I know the kids had fun, they are still talking about it.
I love this man. A blog that I follow and enjoy so much is on her second year of a resolution to go on a date a month with her hubby. I told Ryan that we are going to follow suit this year.
2. Brandon is a week away from his first academic bowl and is pumped! He is beyond ready. He will also tell you that the competition is on Winnie the Pooh's birthday. A man with the facts, always, is Brandon. Ryan and I are looking forward to going.
3. I wish I had video of some recent suppertime prayers by the boys. They rotate nightly. Ryan and I discovered when we went to eat on New Years Eve and it was Britton's turn to pray, that he isn't a public prayer. He passed to Brandon. Britton being the youngest and also the biggest fan of food prays very short and sweet prayers. Brandon is our deep prayer. He prays for serious issues and people that are weighing on his heart. It's very awesome. Blaine is a random prayer. He likes to pray for his family but since Christmas and celebrating the birth of Jesus, he has prayed twice for God to help baby Jesus grow. Gotta love those sweet tender hearts.
4. Gracelyn is not a fan of having her hair brushed, combed or fixed but certainly enjoys combing my hair. She will let me comb her hair after she combs mine.
5. I took the boys for long overdue haircuts. Britton said his Boston cap fit better. They look so handsome!

Brandon said he had to take a shower before I could take a pic. He's growing up.
6. There is no question that this girl runs the house. Her brothers let her get away with almost anything.

she threw her legs over Britton's while watching Mickey. He didn't bat an eye.
7. Since Gracelyn began potty training we've been washing hands quite often, a lot more than before. I discovered the hard way that she is allergic to the Bath and Body Works pretty smelling soap. To get her poor swollen, rashed, bleeding hands back to normal we are putting cream and socks on.

she loves her "puppets"
9. The older boys, B1 and B2, have played Legos together for about a year and now they've included B3. One of the very few things the boys can do together without fighting is build Legos. It's very sweet and I keep trying to capture pics without them seeing me, unfortunately I am not sly. I'll keep trying.
10.
A scripture/song that I recite daily lately.

Gracelyn is just like our Grace, she loves to brush our hair especially mine and Arron's. I got her a styling head for Christmas because of this, but she hasn't touched it. She uses the hair stuff that came with it to do our hair still.
Our tree is still up too, and it's a real one, so it's not looking so great, but Arron won't have time to take it somewhere until the weekend. Is yours real? I can't remember.
What was the frightening news?
Good luck on your monthly date nights! I'd love to be able to do that! I cracked up about your boys prayer for "Baby Jesus to grow up" Too cute! That's too bad about G being allergic to the soap...Poor thing! I hope you find out answeres about your eyes soon.
