Tuesday 10

1. Blaine has daily occupational ideas for his father, including being a police officer, teacher, and just today on our way home from school, he suggested Ryan work at Taco Mayo. Never mind the fact that we are bombarded with extracurricular activities with our kids, his dad is already employed and works so much more than 40hrs a week. Perhaps sweet Blaine is just looking for an alternative.
our funny guy.

2. The RAs (Royal Ambassadors) were recognized at church since they are finished for the school year. The boys only meet for the first semester. Jackson had the most verses memorized, with Brandon one less.

Jackson in the blue jacket, Brandon in the black.

3. I received beautiful flowers from my in-laws. With all that's going on, plus the symptoms of Sjogrens, they certainly brightened my week!

4. When getting the kids dressed last week to go pick up Blaine from school. Britton asked me what the temperature was outside. I looked it up on my phone and told him it was 28degrees. He replied, with great enthusiasm, that I was older than the weather. Thanks, son, Mom loves you too.

5. Gracelyn got a Furreal kitty as a reward for being completely potty trained. She named her kitty "Mimi" after her beloved Mimi! That's a true compliment.

6. I meet with the dentist tomorrow as part of my Sjogrens treatment plan. He is going to tell me how to handle the dry mouth symptom of my condition. No More Soda is part of the plan. Being a Diet Coke addict for well over a decade, yeah, I may need a patch.

7. I branched out and made a new dessert for my family get-together. My general rule is to tryout new recipes on my own family before taking them to a party. I broke the rules and luckily it paid off. I made a Cinnamon Roll Cake and it was DE-LISH! The pan was almost empty by 15 people but the boys got to eat the rest for a breakfast treat!

8. Brandon has become our household celebrity! His picture has been on the front page of our local paper twice in the past couple of weeks!
I'm fighting back tears since he asked me to start buying him styling gel.
9. Gracelyn is a great little "mommy" to her baby dolls. She falls asleep like this nightly. such a sweetheart.

10. Have a Blessed week!

Oh, the picture of Blaine... oh, my. So Blaine with his costumes. Every time, I turned around when he stayed with us, he had a different hat on.
Love, love, love the kitty pics. The look of joy on her face! Ah!
And, yes, we are older than 28 degrees.... don't you love kids that point those things out?

She is just like my Gracie. Loves to be a little mommy to her baby dolls, always pushing them around in strollers, and then tucks them into bed with her at night too. She even tries to bring the stroller to bed.

I'll have to remember the "I'll buy you a gift when you're potty trained" tip! Good idea! I didn't realize dry mouth was one of your symptoms...thought it just involved your eyes...bless your heart! Hang in there, girl!
