Tuesday 10

We are on the second week of Ryan gone for work so I am not sure how many I will have or get to. I am one tired mama.

Last week was one big wrecking ball, it seemed. Discipline at school, missed Open House, a mama with a sinus infection and very dry, irritated eyes, oh and then a broken tooth, yes, all in one week. I was just happy and proud that we were all alive come Friday to welcome Ryan home!

Sunday evening I got the sweetest email from Blaine's teacher. Blaine is an awesome kid and can get loud and excitable so I never know A)how he's going to be around others and B)how others are going to be around him. I have prayed for his teacher, like I have all of the boys' teachers but with her I specifically pray for patience because Blaine's attention can stray.
Anywho, she praised him to me, told me that he always has a smile and a kind word to her and everyone he sees. Talk about heartmelting. totally brought tears to my eyes seeing that she recognized the sweet boy that Blaine is.

This is a note I have put in his lunchbox once before. It's my favorite because he needs no reminder to make the day fun. He's just that kinda kid! I missed slipping it in Monday so Gracelyn and I ran up there.

When we got to the school I noticed the secretary stapling some papers up on the Boot-iful Board, displaying awesome work. Blaine's work was one of the ones chosen!!

Britton has replaced his love for Legos for the vacuum. No joke. He has vacuumed 3 times in the past 4 days and he already asked before bed if he can vacuum again tomorrow. That boy is such a go-getter, in everything he does.
it's much taller than him.
Brandon is in his last year of Cub Scouts. The first pack meeting was last night and the Webelos 2 always present the colors at the first meeting on their last year.
He was all set to carry the American flag...
til the substitute leader realized that Brandon was the only boy who knew the calls. Brandon didn't even need the paper. Ryan was so proud when I told him.

I took Blaine to the doctor last week and, since Ryan was out of town, I took all the kiddos. The boys sat, for a very long time, and watched a movie that was agreed upon by all. So respectful. The people around couldn't believe how well they were getting along. I think they realized the week I'd had and had mercy on me.
my sweet boys
Britton is raking in the Burcham brags...
#7!! He is such a good boy!
Brandon wants to broadcast our allegiance to the Rangers and Red Sox
the "H" of home, the and Go are all in the sunlight.

And last but not least, our crazy little girl
she informed me that she was calling her Mimi
never a dull moment
Have a great week!!

Britton can come vacuum my house anytime. And I wish Anna would stay in the lines when she colors like Blaine did. He did a good job. Anna still just scribbles.
