Saturday was a fun day for our family. Ryan had been gone a second week so I made plans for us to spend the day together. That morning we went downtown to the Windfest to see Rumble the Bison from the OKC Thunder and hang out.
I thought there would be a chance that Gracelyn would like Rumble seeing as she completely stalked Ruby the Redhawk at the Redhawks game. Boy was I WRONG! She pivoted in her stroller seat and crawled up the stroller to me. With an empty stroller nearby, Rumble pretended to sit and Gracelyn completely FLIPPED. It was pretty funny. Neither one of the little boys would pose for a pic but that didn't stop Brandon, who got his autograph and a picture.

| then they went over and danced with the band. |
We went to the SWOSU football game that evening. We sat down by the band to give the kids more room to dance. It is so funny to watch my kids because they are so different from each other. Blaine and Gracelyn are the free spirits while Brandon and Britton are certainly more reserved. Blaine, I didn't get video because he stopped and giggled when he saw us watching, was hilarious, dancing like a wild man and Gracelyn thoroughly enjoyed showing off some moves of her own as well.
it's long, sorry. She definitely has spirit!!
It couldn't have been a better day.
Gracelyn's ta-da'ed me Sunday, her version of being ready for church. I guess she was going for the rockstar look. (it didn't happen for her.)
Monday began the adventure of new windows being installed in our entire house!! It's very
exciting, even though it's been impossible for Gracelyn to take a nap due to the all the construction on the windows and gables.
Blaine's homework was centered around the letter "M." He had a bag that he was to fill with one to two items that began with "M." Brandon couldn't contain himself from giving Blaine suggestions so he would whisper them to me in order to cure his urge to "help" Blaine. Blaine actually came up with his items all on his own.
Mouse (computer, that is) and a map, that was handmade by himself and Brandon!
Soccer started today! Britton couldn't have been more excited!
He was so excited that when I picked him up from school at 10:40, he began changing.in the car. (His uniform was in the car because after we picked Brandon up from school I wasn't sure we would have time to go back home after taking Brandon for a haircut.) So Britton changed in the car. And not just his jersey and shorts but his shin guards, soccer socks and cleats. And he moved his Burcham brag to his jersey! I love that boy and I love indulging them in their simple yet so filling wants.
After soccer, Ryan took Brandon to practice baseball. Brandon dreams of being a pitcher and I pray for his arm, shoulder and elbow.
and because no one plays baseball alone when Britton is around, he wanted a lesson in pitching.
Happy Week!
