Tuesday 10

I don't really have anything specific to blog about so this will do just fine!

1. We had family pictures taken last Thursday and here is one, I just love it!

2. The boys and I had game night last night and played Trouble-the Cars version while Ryan was out of town. It was a lot of fun and they showed no mercy toward their mama.

3. Speaking of Ryan, his software company finally finished the program they have been working on for months. Now comes the installation and the process of selling it. Bigtime prayers for that!

4. Britton had his first sleepover last week without Blaine. Ryan's mom owed him a night since he was potty trained last summer and time got away for him to stay over before she went back to teaching.

Britton didn't really get it at first when we were packing. I told him to go get his bay and he asked if he was taking a nap there. He had a good time!

5. Brandon hit a homerun at his game Friday night in the 108* heat! The boy was on cloud 9! Partly because I owed him a king size snickers.

6. Gracelyn took her first swim of the summer this weekend. We put her in her fish floatie and from what I was told she liked it. I didn't swim so when I was standing there she reached and whined for me so I went inside.

Ryan was able to distract her enough for me to take one picture. She was laughing at him splashing.

7. I am having a bone marrow biopsy a week from today. I'm nervous but anxious to get to the bottom of why I feel like I do.

8. We've been having conversations with Blaine about Jesus and the path in which you take to choose and follow Him. It's hitting me hard that Blaine is getting so big. He reminds me often that he is almost "a whole hand." (5 years old!)

9. Gracelyn is 20 months old as of last Thursday. I am rationalizing the fact that I didn't take pictures on that day because Rebecca was going to.
Anyway, Gracie can say a lot of words now as well as throw a whole bunch of fits when she doesn't get what she wants. She is quite a bully to her bros and frequently visits time-out for being mean. Miss G loves books, loves them and is quite the ham cracking us all up!

10. I really don't have a tenth tidbit so......... Happy First Day of Summer!
