Welcome Summertime!!

Baseball is pretty much what our life revolves around right now. We spent 12 hours yesterday in Fort Cobb at a machine pitch tournament. It was a great day, hot, but lots of fun. Ryan took our grill so the parents all brought hot dogs and hamburgers and lots of fruit and good snacks.

Brandon loves catching. loves it. and is really doing very well catching and hitting.

Our coach pitch team practiced Thursday and Friday prior to the tournament with a pitching machine and placed second out of 12 teams! They played 5 games, winning 4 straight (2 were nail-biters) and only lost the championship game by 1 run. It was fantastic!

The boys are not only gaining so much as players, they are becoming a team, working together, encouraging and cheering for each other.

Today while I set up for Vacation Bible School this week, Ryan took the kids to the new splashpad in town. I didn't expect him to get pictures of it. But after we all got home and ate supper we enjoyed some watermelon. As you can see, it was total hit with all the kiddos.
