A couple of weeks ago the kids and I left after Blaine's T-Ball and went to my mom's for the night. The next morning my mom packed a picnic lunch for the kids and we headed to the splashpad. This was the first splashpad visit of the summer, they've since had another last week, and just like last year Gracelyn loved it and outlasted her bros.
After the splashpad fun, the kids played on the playground a bit and had a blast. The best part was the great naps when we got back to Mimi and Pappy's!
Now Gracelyn loves the water, the splashpad water, that is. She is hesitant to get in the pool and if she does, she insists on being in her baby float and she is out within 5-10 minutes. She had a little scare when she was swimming with Ryan's sister and slipped though the tube. She wasn't under for long at all but Ryan's sister was naturally worried and I think it scared Gracelyn.
The boys all love the pool!
