Blaine at the farm

Tuesday I accompanied the Kindergartners to the local farm. I went with the Pre-k'ers a couple of weeks ago but they only stayed a couple of hours, Blaine's class was there for nearly 4! He got to do activities the littler kids didn't and I had an absolute blast with him. I rarely get time with just him and when the teacher asked me at parent/teacher conference if I would be able to go I said yes before even checking with Ryan to see if he could watch Gracelyn.
Blaine is such a fun kid, smiles so much and is just a joy to be around. His teacher told me yesterday that he can always bring a smile to her face. Blaine has fun wherever he is. seriously.

 Several of the parents commented to the teacher during the trip how well her class behaves. During the rules overview when they first arrived, on the hayride, staying with their group, no other class behaved like hers. She beamed and said they were great kids but I know it has to do with great direction from her as well. (Blaine absolutely loves her and said she gives the best hugs, next to mine!)
So at the end of the day she called the kids in for the "huddle." She bent down and the kids all gathered around and she praised and praised and praised them so more. They loved it and at the end they gave her a group hug. It was really sweet. Blaine was actually sad about Fall Break because he wanted to go to school. strange kid?!

Oh I love that kid so much! You just never know what he's going to come up with next.
