We didn't do much to kick off Fall this year. A pumpkin patch is always at the top of our list to begin the cooler season but with the arrival of Gracelyn earlier than what we originally planned we unfortunately never made it to one. Also, Brandon reminded me a couple of days after we got home from the hospital with Gracie that we hadn't made our annual batch of Monster Cookies (a recipe from my Granny that makes almost 200 cookies made from pb, chocolate chips, m&m's, oatmeal and they are DELICIOUS but TONS of work!) I told him that I highly doubted that we would get them made, and sure enough we didn't. And both of the previous mentioned activities are a lot of fun for us because are not big on halloween. We always attend our church's Trunk or Treat but the little boys had runny noses and Brandon's jersey still hadn't arrived so we didn't this year. On Saturday we loaded up and went to the city to hang our with my dad and stepmom and then to my mom and stepdad's. Since we didn't go to our church's festival the boys didn't get any candy so we took them down my mom's street. It was a wonderful day and we all had a great time just hanging with the fam and relaxing, which is rare it seems like these days!
(he disliked that mask, with a passion! So that is as close to wearing it as he came)

Aw! Everyone looks so cute! It did stink missing out on Trunk or Treat this year... I felt like a part of our Fall/Halloween is missing.
You look FABULOUS!!
