Saturday we took the kids to the zoo. It was a great day to go weather-wise but because of the mild weather, it was packed. We still had a blast, it just took us longer there then we originally planned. This was Gracelyn's first trip to the zoo and I can honestly say that I'm pretty sure she didn't notice any of the animals but she did fantastic and seemed to enjoy people watching!
We bought the boys each a zoo key for the boxes at several of the animals habitats that sing songs and tell a little about them. Those keys were a huge hit!!
Since it wasn't really hot the animals were out and active, even in the early afternoon! It made for a lot of fun for the kids, especially Britton since it was creeping into naptime. B2 and B3 were asleep before the car even left the parking spot!
Brandon's favorite thing was the bats, which really creeped me out. Blaine loved the alligators and Britton loved the kangaroo that hopped back and forth in front of us. That was really cool!
