This years Blast was totally bittersweet to me, each year seems more-so. Brandon is entering the big 5th grade, one year shy of middle school, while Blaine is entering Kindergarten, all day, and then there's my sweet B3 who will be in Pre-K. I tear up just thinking about it. I want to hold them longer.
Sunday we stopped at an outlet mall before heading to Grapevine Mills mall to eat at Rainforest Cafe. Every few minutes when the jungle restaurant came alive with tigers, gorillas, elephants, cheetahs and monkeys the kids just stopped and stared. Gracelyn was fine with the commotion until we went around the jungle after we ate to see the animals. She completely freaked.
We took the kids to the Dallas World Aquarium Monday and it was a lot of fun. There was so much, from fish and sharks to crocodiles, monkeys and penguins, even a jaguar but he was hiding. That night Ryan and Brandon went to a Rangers game, part of B1's belated birthday gift while the littles and I swam and hung out and vegged out!
Tuesday brought Hurricane Harbor! I will say that we are very blessed that Gracelyn likes the water as much as she does. She went on every ride she could go on with so much excitement. We spent 6 and a half hours there in 110degree weather. We had a blast though, every one of us and all of us slept like rocks that night.
We stopped at IKEA on our way home and In N Out and cruised on home!
The kids are semi ready for school. Blaine is very excited, Brandon a little less than Blaine and Britton a little less than Brandon, especially after being in the school Tuesday night, I think he's overwhelmed. I get asked daily what I am going to do with them all in school but I will only have 2 in school full time. Britton will be home by 10:50 and I will still have lots of laundry and cleaning to do, as always!

Loved the underwater pics! What kind of camera did you use for those? We just got home from our vacay to Gatlinburg. We stayed at a hotel with an indoor and outdoor waterpark. Gracie would not go on a single thing. She did not even want to go on the little tiny kiddie slide. She's my little scaredy cat. Can't believe Gracelyn went on everything she was big enough for. That's the way Anna was though. She couldn't get enough of the slides and cried her little eyes out if she wasn't big enough.
I was wondering why there weren't any pics in this post until I clicked on your blog and saw the slideshow. I'm so glad I got to see the fun pics! it looks like such a blast!
