Vacation Bible School 2012

This week was VBS at our church and it was very interesting, to say the least. Brandon had baseball camp at the high school Monday-Wednesday so he wasn't able to go until Thursday. The rest of us went Monday but that afternoon Blaine woke up from nap with a fever so he spent most of the week trying to bounce back and Britton had a rocky start with a teacher who wasn't pleased that he is reserved and isn't outgoing. Both boys hung out with dad a few days and went back today where I put them together in Blaine's class. They had such a happy time today, leaving church with HUGE smiles! As a side-note: I am anxious to see how Britton does in school later this year. One of his teachers today, a mom of one of Brandon's baseball teammates, exclaimed how she had never seen him so shy. He adores her daughter, they are ballpark best buds so she's used to seeing him running around and laughing. I worked with the Toddlers this year, Gracelyn's class, which was a lot of fun. It was a big change from leading music with the Pre-K'ers that I have worked with for the past 4 years. Gracelyn had a great time this week. She was in class with 2 good friends, Taryn and Emily. All the girls played pretty well together and were really sweet to watch.

Brandon said he hoped he saw Gracelyn today. He did and she was just as excited!
