bicycle fun!

This post comes several days later than I planned. We lost the SD card from the camera (which contains 1,000s of pics) so a few days were spent turning the house upside down and shedding many tears until Wednesday evening when friends came over for supper and brought not only a side but our SD card from the front yard. I'm not even going to question why it was in the front yard after the other crazy events this week, like the showerhead breaking off and 7lbs of ribs catching on fire. All of this to say that we've been tested this week and I think we've done well.

I mentioned in my "Tuesday 10" post this week that on Saturday, while I went to the city to shop, Ryan had all the kiddos. He took them bike-riding and from what I hear it was quite an adventure (hilarious, if you ask me.) Anyway, I felt really bad for Britton because that was his first time to ride his bicycle since he received it for Christmas and there was little one-on-one time with only 1 parent. So I suggested to Ryan that we go up to his office Sunday after naps and let them ride around since everyone would be gone and it would be flat and open. So that's what we did.

On Saturday as Ryan was loading the kids up Britton informed his dad that he no longer wanted his bike. He even suggested they give it to his friend Cayson. Sunday, after we left Ryan's office and were headed to church I asked if he still wanted to give his bike away and he quickly said no. I consider Sunday a success!
