Ryan and Brandon
Brandon only has one more "stage" of cub scouts before he crosses the bridge (literally) to boy scouts.
I'll admit, the first two years in cubs, when he went from Tigers to Wolves and Wolves to Bears, I wasn't really affected. However, now that he is more than halfway completed, I am sad. I cried that evening. Ryan and I couldn't feel more opposite about this. He talks about it with excitement because "boy scouts have more fun, Kendra" but all I see is my first born growing up entirely too fast. It helps me that Brandon is having a great time. He knows that there will be a lot more camping the older and further up he gets. In fact he asked for a new, bigger pack for his birthday and once again his party will be a camp-out with some of his best buds and their dads.

Lucky Ryan got to lead the program because the leader was ill.
He did a great job.
