Brandon loves to read. Several months ago his dad received a nook and then Brandon decided that in order to help save space on his bookshelf that he "needed" a Nook. When I told him that the cheapest one was $150 he didn't bat an eye and said that he would work to earn money and ask for Barnes and Noble gift cards for gifts.
After 6 months, Brandon obtained enough money to buy a Nook! He was so pumped and couldn't wait til we went to the city so that he could purchase it.
I'm honestly not sure what he was most excited about on Saturday, the go-carts or buying his Nook. It truly was about equal.

As a mom I am so incredibly proud of Brandon. He showed his maturity and dedication. He knew what he wanted and kept his focus on saving for it. Since buying it Saturday Brandon has been reading every chance he gets. He is such a sweet boy.
