I didn't even know what day today was because all I can think of this past week is baseball and what I need, water, uniforms, snacks, sunscreen water, water, water and snacks.
With Regionals this week, luckily our town is hosting them so we didn't have far to travel, we have had games 3 of the last 5 days, and more tomorrow, the FINALS!! Our team had their first loss this afternoon, we think they were just simply exhausted and with temps in the 100's, who can blame them. They came back this evening and won their way into the finals. With a loss though, the team they play is undefeated (our only loss) so they must beat them twice to advance to state. We can do it. In our game against them, we finally came alive and rallied but it was too late. If they come out fired up then I know we can win.

Brandon catching, what he loves to do.

and he sure does hustle when he's behind the plate.

Brandon with Coach McPherson

In the 3 years that Brandon has played coach pitch, his team has never won a Regionals game. This team has won 3 and is headed to the finals!! The boys work so well together!
And while the game was going on my daughter, who even yesterday had a small spaz moment when she fell in the grass and her hands were dirty, found a HUGE mud puddle on an empty baseball field. My little boys were dry as a bone for which I was very thankful. Some kids had to be hosed off before leaving the ballfield. Kids!

she is so proud of herself.

father/son moment. The team won but Brandon had an error (they don't record them like they do the majors or anything) and he was still upset about it. Ryan was talking to him. I couldn't resist a pic.

Oh, my. The last picture seriously brought tears to my eyes... sweet moment. Way to go, Red Sox! One of the few times I will say that. :)
I love the father/son pic! I would have captured that, too!
