our last week, in pics

The past week was a jam-packed one. The little boys are taking swim lessons last week and this week and they are in separate classes (and the classes are not back-to-back) so we are hanging out, "loitering" all afternoon at Ryan's office since it's only a couple of minutes away and we live on the other side of town from the lessons. Being gone all afternoon is wreaking havoc on my laundry, cleaning and supper preparing routine but it has been nice seeing Ryan a little more.
Gracelyn is now loving the water! We enjoyed a little swimming fun before surprising Ryan's parents with a welcome home party from their cruise.
Britton, like his big brother Brandon, loves books. Blaine never has really cared about them but he's beginning to catch the book bug.
B3 has been in full "Superwhy" superhero mode this week. He takes the mask every.where.

Brandon's baseball team had an end of the season party at the splashpad. They deserved it after such a phenomenal season. Their record was 23-11!
B1 with his trophy. All his teammates signed the baseball.
We went to Mimi and Pappy's Saturday!! The boys swam, rode bikes and we all played games. It's always so fun going because Mimi gets down and plays with the kids!!
Mimi and Pappy bought Brandon a bike so Blaine moved up to Brandon's old one, Britton graduated to Blaine's old one and Miss G got Britton's tricycle. She is actually pedaling. on her own.

Naturally when I started filming she stopped pedaling. She is getting so big.

speaking of getting big, Gracelyn reached the maximum weight to ride rear-facing so Ryan turned her seat around. I cried and she was unsure about the switch.
did I mention the kids have caught the book bug? Sunday, in order to stall naptime, the kids begged for more books.
Brandon got some one-on-one time with mom and dad this afternoon when we took him to see Harry Potter
the little kids stayed with Ryan's parents and they made peach ice cream, which Britton is not a fan of. He asked for "white"but only a little of vanilla was left so he got to eat out of the big bowl. He was ecstatic, to say the least.
I mentioned at the top that Ryan's parents went on a cruise. They stopped in Jamaica and brought Ryan's sister this hat.
Britton was not a fan.
Have a blessed week!
