G is 22.5 months old and had her first trim today, while the boys each had at least 3 haircuts before they turned 1. Such a difference in boys and girls.

The sweet lady who cuts my hair, Darci, cut Gracie's hair and I was so terrified that G would throw a fit and move and dodge her. But to my completely surprise, she didn't! Gracelyn sat still, looked very serious, but never shed a tear or uttered "no." She actually didn't say a word until the end, she said "thank you." her version of it anyway and Darci understood!
G wasn't a fan of the cape so that didn't last long and B3, who tagged along, loaned her his firetruck so she played with that.
And Darci agreed with me that G doesn't need bangs because in fact she doesn't have a forehead for bangs. That's to Ryan, her daddy, who keeps talking about cutting bangs.

the trimming was all in the back.

because I was worried about doing piggies next month for her bday Darci showed me they could still be done!
Gracelyn was so good and earned a sucker afterward, as did Britton and sweet Darci told Britton to get 2 for his brothers, who were at school.

such a big girl!

I washed her hair when we got home and this is what the back looks like, a layered look but all even across the back!

Her hair is so long!!! What cute pictures!
She is so precious! Those days of first hair cuts seem so long ago...I'll live vicariously through you and enjoy the little girlness of this sweetie!
That's so sweet that she said, "thank you" afterwards!
