our soccer stud

Blaine's first soccer game was last night! He did very very well the first half of the game and had a blast. Blaine was right in the middle of the action and actually dribbled the ball down the field a few times. We were so proud of him. There are 5 kids on his team and they play 3-on-3 but two of the kids were unwilling to play the first half of the game so Blaine didn't get a break.

To say he was exhausted by halftime would be an understatement. The boy was spent. Luckily the two kids who sat out the first half decided they wanted in on the action so Blaine got a couple of breaks in the last 2 quarters.

He asked me today when I picked him up from school if he gets to go play soccer again tonight. I told him not til Thursday and he said his "awww, man!" Love that kid.
