Baseball that is.
Brandon's first league game was a week from last Thursday and that weekend was a tournament. We lost our first game (BAD) so we went into the tournament thankful for a guaranteed 3 games. (This is our team's first year to bat against kid pitchers. It's such an adjustment going from their coach the last 2 summers who only threw strikes he knew they could pitch to Peewees where the opposing team tries to get them out.)
Unexpectedly but certainly excitedly the boys won BOTH games Saturday! The team played Sunday at 9 (we missed due to church), won that game, played in the semifinal game, won that and played in the championship game(!!) and lost that game but seriously! It was so awesome. It was just what the boys needed.

Brandon hit a homerun during the championship game!! OH.MY.GOSH! I was jumping up and down. It was awesome to see that beam across his face! And it was the only homerun hit during the tournament.

We have so much baseball left. so much. Brandon is working on pitching (nervous mom here, EEEE!) so that is more training we are working on.
