Tonight was Blaine's Pre-K Finale night! I spent most of the day praying that he would feel like going. I picked him up from school this morning and he looked pitiful. His allergies had really brought him down as well as his spirits. We came home and Blaine slept for seriously 4.5 hours. Thankfully, he woke up acting like fun little 'ol Blaine, ready to go!
Even though Brandon's Pre-K Finale was 4 years ago, I vividly remember how I bawled, especially as I watched the video of pics throughout the year and listened to "Let Them Be Little." I packed lots of tissues tonight.
When Blaine woke up from his nap he exclaimed that he had asked his teacher what to wear (because I asked him to ask her) and she told him "whatever you want." Really, she said this to the kid that ASKED me to buy him a bowtie to go with his suit for Easter. So yep, he chose to wear his suit complete with bowtie and shiny black shoes. I love that kid so much.

Peanut Butter is his favorite song, he participated in that song the most out of the rest probably combined. The underpants verse at the end is the part he sings all.the.time at home as he giggles, then Britton giggles, then Brandon, then Gracelyn until we are all laughing at the others laughing.
his sibs, they were excellent spectators!
May There Always Be Sunshine really got me. You can even hear me sniffling at the end, sorry. That old song is one of my favorites and in today's world, I pray for those great, yet so simple things for my kids.

Blaine has had a great Pre-K year! He has loved school, loved interacting with other kids slightly more than learning but he's learned a lot nonetheless. I can't believe our B2 will be in all-day Kindergarten next year.

He is so handsome in his suit! No wonder he wanted to wear it.
I remember when my kiddos were that little. Hold on to them, they grow up so fast.
