with lots of fun! I can't believe tomorrow is my firstborn's last day of 4th grade. GAH! How is that possible?!
Friday was Super Kids Day! Gracelyn, Britton and I stopped by to see Brandon in action.
tether ball
jump rope
hula-hooping
B3 showing me his muscles.
G really wasn't posing, she was refusing a pic.
Today was Eagle Pride Olympics!! Brandon has been so excited for weeks, since his PE teacher first told the students about it. He quickly signed up to run the 100 yard dash, 400 yard relay and baseball spin relay (which we missed today because they told us it was lunch time so I left.)
Gracelyn, Britton and I got there at 9AM sharp and Ryan and Blaine came after Blaine got out of school. We watched the 4th and 5th graders participate in all sorts of Field Day sports. It was really neat to see all the students banned together to cheer on those competing.
he's ready to dominate! not really, I just to wanted say that.
Come to find out Brandon was volunteered to be on the sack relay team by some boys in his class "because of his long legs." HA!
He actually made up a lap. His team tackled him afterward!
Brandon was the first leg of the relay.
not sure what's up with B1 but I loved G's smile.
This picture absolutely made.my.week. Gracelyn is far from outgoing around people she doesn't know and she often shys away from Brandon because he tries to "parent" her a little more than she likes. So when she walked over and sat on his lap. It was so stinkin' sweet. All those girls ran over to him too. Now I can't say I liked that.
